I’m a brand designer and illustrator based in San Francisco and originally from Ciudad Juarez, México. I’ve been working in tech since 2015, when I joined HelloSign as their second designer. In 2019 Dropbox acquired HelloSign and I joined their Brand Studio team as a Sr. Brand Designer.
While at HelloSign I’ve worked on the design (and redesign) of much of the HelloSign website. I co-led the migration of the website onto a CMS platform, which gave the marketing and design teams more ownership of their work.
Throughout this time, I’ve also created dozens of illustrations for in-product placement, web campaigns, and editorial use. Today, I focus on the future of the brand through Dropbox’s vision for designing a more enlightened way to work.
Previously I worked as a designer at Hello Amigo (formerly Viva+Impulse Creative Co) in El Paso, Texas developing identities, packaging and ad campaigns for local companies in the retail, restaurant and non-profit space. Before that, I studied graphic design and painting at the University of Texas at El Paso.
Through my experiences as a Latina, immigrant, and woman in tech, I saw first-hand the need to improve diversity in the space. That’s why at Dropbox, I’m part of 3D, a working group dedicated to the planning, execution, and enrichment of DEI initiatives within Design.
